FREISA

Unfortunately there is no certain evidence about the origin of this grape variety. The first written mentions of Freisa are from documents dating back to the 16th century. Since the Freisa grape variety thrives in marly or clayey soils it is largely grown in the whole wine-making area of Piedmont.
